William Zhang is an emerging young pianist and composer from United States. William was born in Atlanta in 2012. At tender age of 6, William won First Place and the First Winner of Judges Distinction Award across all age groups. William made his successful Carnegie Hall debut in March, 2019 as one of the youngest pianists. William started improvisation at 5. "I have a new melody" is a tune that sung many times at Zhang's household. He completed his first piano Sonata when he was 7, second Sonata at 8. William has been featured by Fox TV, CBS, NBC, CGTN America and BBC Newsday. Most recently William appeared with Melissa McCarthy on NBC Little Big Shots Season 4 and Tamron Hall Show. In addition to music, William loves reading and swimming.
